Last updated: 19 September 2026. App: Kids World – Family Hub (com.kidsworld.familyhub), published by HYM. This policy covers the app on every platform it is sold on.
Kids World is a paid app for young children. One home screen leads to five activities: Drawing Workshop, Sound Master, Reading Books, Kids Radio and Videos. It is made to be handed to a child, so it asks for nothing and remembers nothing about who is using it.
We collect nothing. The app has no accounts and no sign-in. It contains no advertising, analytics or tracking software of any kind, and shows no advertisement anywhere. We (HYM) do not collect, store, sell or share any personal information about you or your child, and we run no server that holds any.
The app never asks a child for a name, an age, an e-mail address, a photograph or any other personal detail.
Separately from that, the app has to fetch the videos, books, radio and pictures it shows from the services that host them. Those services see the request, in the ordinary way any website does. The Third parties section below names every one of them and says exactly what they can see. We do not receive any of it.
Everything the app remembers is kept in the app's own private storage on the device. We never see it. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
If the device's own system backup is switched on, that backup may include the app's files, the same way it includes other apps'. That backup belongs to the device owner and goes to their own cloud account. It never comes to us.
The app connects to the internet only to show the content it offers. Each of these connections exposes the device's internet (IP) address and its browser user agent to the server that answers, which is what happens with any web page. No account, no advertising identifier and no identifier of you or your child is attached to any of them, and nothing is shared with anyone for advertising or analytics.
youtube-nocookie.com. The player's own program code is loaded
from youtube.com, and thumbnails come from Google at i.ytimg.com. Only videos the channel itself has marked “Made for Kids”
are shown. There is no search, no comments and no way to reach youtube.com from inside
the app. The player is set so that anything it suggests comes only from the same channel as
the video just played. Google handles this traffic under its own policy at
policies.google.com/privacy, and playback is
subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.api.radio-browser.info), the free community
directory the station list comes from, and the radio stations themselves.
Pressing play connects the device directly to the station's public stream server, and station
logos load from the stations' own websites. Each station sees what it sees for any listener of
its public stream. The station list is maintained on our side and changes from time to time
without an app update. The app needs no permission to do anything a child can reach. It never asks for the camera, the microphone, location, contacts or any other sensitive permission, and it cannot read photos, files or anything else already on the device.
There is one optional exception. If a grown-up turns on “save pictures to the photo library” inside Drawing Workshop's grown-ups settings – which is itself behind a grown-up check, and is switched off when the app is installed – then finished pictures are also placed in the device's photo gallery. On devices whose system requires permission for that, the system asks once, at that moment and not before. The permission only lets the app add a picture. The app never reads the gallery and cannot see any photo already there.
Kids World is made for young children, and it is built so that nothing personal about a child is ever gathered. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone of any age, because we collect none at all.
Every way out of the app sits behind a parent gate – a multiplication question a young child cannot answer. It guards the settings, any activity a grown-up has locked, this policy, and every link that opens the web browser or an e-mail. Reading Books sits behind it in full: that activity leads to a bookshop, so it is for grown-ups and cannot be opened to children. The gate is there to keep a small child inside the app and away from the wider internet. It is an age screen, not a request for a parent's consent to any data processing, because there is no data processing to consent to.
We retain nothing, because we collect nothing. There is no account to close, no record to correct and nothing to request from us. Everything the app remembers lives in the app's private storage on the device: the watch history covers the last 30 days and older entries are discarded, and deleting the app removes all of it at once. If you would like to ask us anything about this, write to webhym@gmail.com.
Kids World is bought once, from the store you downloaded it from. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no advertising. Payment is handled entirely by that store; we never see a payment method and never receive your payment details.
Kids World is not affiliated with YouTube, Google, Amazon or any of the channels, stations, publishers or authors whose material it links to, and none of them endorse it. All trademarks belong to their owners. The videos, books and radio streams are shown as their own services publish them.
If you own a channel, a station or a book and would like it removed from the app, write to webhym@gmail.com and we will take it out of the catalogue.
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new “last updated” date at the top.
